Also, last year, I made a traditional 7-layer dip and simply used Daiya non-dairy cheese and plain coconut non-dairy yogurt mixed with homemade taco seasoning (chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder) for the normal cheese and sour cream layers. It was delicious!
Monster Veggie-Loaded Turkey or Veggie Burgers on Eggplant Bun from Made to Glow – you could also make these into sliders and use smaller eggplant slices for the buns!
Nacho Cheese Cauliflower Tots from Healthful Pursuit
Healthy Cauliflower Popcorn/Kettle Corn from Eating Bird Food
Dairy-free Creamy Spinach and Artichoke Dip from The Detoxinista
Roasted Chickpeas – 4 Ways from Modern Parents, Messy Kids
Healthy Loaded Sweet Potato Nachos from Made to Glow
Homemade, Fresh Guacamole from Made to Glow
Other gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free food recommendations (just make sure to read the label if you’re buying these from a store):
Assorted fresh fruit and vegetable platter
Chips (My faves are bean chips, sweet potato chips, plantain chips, and apple chips)
Popcorn (Here’s a tasty bag of popcorn)
Dips (guacamole and spinach and artichoke dips – see recipes above, as well as try assorted hummus flavors or salsa)
Lastly, I love to do food parties, like pizza parties, taco bars, and ice cream/brownie bars! Simply supply the base (i.e. the gluten-free/dairy-free pizza crust, corn tortillas, or dessert) then provide an assortment of toppings so your guests can have fun creating their own yummy concoctions.
